What call center work looks like
You make or take calls or chats from a list or a queue, follow a short script, answer questions and log every conversation. Outbound jobs (cold calling, appointment setting, telesales) are about starting conversations and booking the next step. Inbound jobs (customer service, support) are about solving the customer's problem. Pay is usually a basic salary plus KPI bonuses or commission.
