How to become a freelance recruiter in Egypt

Updated

Many people in Egypt already help friends find work: they share jobs in groups, answer questions and vouch for people they know. Freelance recruiting turns that into income. At Talent Finders you share our open call center, sales and customer service jobs with your own link, follow the people you bring, and earn a commission for every hire who stays. This guide explains how it works, from asking to join to your first commission.

What a freelance recruiter does

Your job is to bring people who really fit, and help them through. You read a job, think of who in your network suits it, check a few basics with them, and send them your personal link to that job. They apply in two minutes and take a short voice interview on their phone.

From there you follow them in your recruiter portal: who finished the interview, who passed, who has a job interview with the company, and who started. You message them when they stall and before their interviews, and you stay in touch through their first month.

How you earn

You earn a commission for each hire who is still working one month after they start. Each job shows its amount in your portal. Someone who leaves before a month earns nothing, so one person who stays is worth more than ten who don't: that's why fit matters more than numbers.

Everyone who applies through your link is credited to you. Your hires stay yours, and commissions are paid once the hire has completed their first month.

From asking to earning

The path is the same for everyone who joins through the site:

  • Ask to join: a two-minute form with your contact details and where you'd find candidates.
  • Approval: the team reviews your request and gives you a recruiter code.
  • Your account: we email you a one-time link to set up your recruiter portal.
  • Training: a short playbook and a quiz. Your job links open the moment you pass.
  • Probation: 30 days to bring 10 people who finish the interview and 1 hire who's still working when it ends.
  • Full recruiter: keep going, and keep earning on every hire who stays.

Where good recruiters find people

The best candidates usually come from people who already trust you: friends, classmates, former colleagues and their friends. University and student groups, and Facebook or WhatsApp groups for jobs in Egypt, work well too, as long as you follow each group's rules and never spam.

Before you send a link, ask three questions. Can they work the job's hours every week? Can they hold a conversation in English? Do they have what the job needs, like a laptop, headset and internet for remote work, or the commute for on-site jobs? Only send the link when all three answers are yes.

What we expect from you

Never ask a candidate for money, for any reason, and never promise anyone a job: only the company decides who is hired. Be honest about the hours, the pay and the work, and keep people's details private.

Freelance accounts stay open while you keep bringing people. After 14 days with no new candidate you'll get a reminder, at 30 a warning, and at 45 the account pauses. Your hires stay yours, and you can reactivate the account yourself when you're ready to start again.

Questions

Questions

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp.

Do I need recruiting experience?

No. The training covers what you need: how the jobs work, how to check fit, how to share your link and how to help candidates honestly. What matters is knowing people who are looking for work.

Is it a salaried job?

No. Freelance recruiters earn commission on hires, with no fixed hours or salary. You work from anywhere in Egypt, in your own time.

How long until I can start?

Once you're approved, we email your account link. The training takes a short sitting; your personal job links open as soon as you pass the quiz.

Can I charge candidates for my help?

Never. Applying through Talent Finders is always free, and asking a candidate for money ends your work with us.
